Gardening Club has officially came to an end this summer, but the legacy lives on in our thriving garden! Witness the magic of sweet basil, cherry tomatoes, and vibrant green peppers flourishing like never before.

Bay View Kids' Zone turned up the fun meter with an entertaining game of Twister – and a splash of messy delight! Laughter echoed as they navigated through the colorful chaos!

Julie says "Teaching courses through Community Ed is a wonderful way to share my eclectic areas of expertise with the people in my community who will benefit from it. I love the ability to offer online courses that can take place regardless of our health, weather or proximity! Bay View Kids' Zone gave free rein to their imagination, giving rise to a mesmerizing 'fairy garden' on the playground. The craft of the day, crafting safari binoculars, also proved to be a delightful hit!




Meet Heidi, our Zumba and Zpump instructor. She loves teaching fitness for "the people," and "I love coming to class because I always leave in a better mood than the one I came with!"


Animal Allies stopped by Kids' Zone Bay View to learn about the animals they care for. The bonus was a visit by their puppy to educate students about caring for animals!




Pike Lake Kids’ Zone got to visit the Alpaca Farm in Hermantown. The children had a blast feeding the Alpacas and learning about them. Thank you, Frosty Ridge Alpaca Farm for having us!

"We are Scott and Kathi Parpala A retired couple that enjoy crafting and connecting with the community. After 25 years in elementary ed and 32 years at our local Air Base we are happy to have time to enjoy our family and five sweet granddaughters. One of the reasons we do classes is to raise money for mission trips to other nations to bring hope to Third World communities."

Kids' Zone joined forces with the Hermantown YMCA to put on a Water Safety Class for the kiddos at Bay View.




Pike Lake got a visit from Animal Allies this past Friday. They learned about how to take care of animals and got to interact with a dog.
