DORA (Driving Opportunities with Recreational Activities) is Proctor & Hermantown Community Education’s mobile outreach vehicle, designed to bring learning, play, and community connection directly to families. As a fully equipped mobile classroom and activity hub, DORA expands access to high-quality enrichment by meeting children and caregivers where they are.

From parks and neighborhoods to school events and community celebrations, DORA delivers hands-on activities, early learning experiences, youth recreation, family engagement, and wellness resources, ensuring that every family has equitable access to opportunities that support growth, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

If your organization, neighborhood, or event is interested in hosting DORA, we welcome community requests that support our mission to expand equitable access to high-quality opportunities for children, youth, and families.

DORA is available for:

• Community events and festivals

• School or childcare family nights

• Park and neighborhood pop-ups

• Early learning or youth enrichment visits

• Wellness, recreation, or outreach initiatives

• Partnerships with local agencies and organizations

How to Request a Visit:

Please complete the online request form with details about your event, target audience, desired activities, and preferred dates. Our team will review your request and follow up to confirm availability and discuss logistics.

All activities and experiences offered through DORA Activities are free for children, families, and community members.
To help support program materials, fuel, and ongoing outreach, a $3 voluntary donation is appreciated but never required.
